New York City & Berlin Stadtmitte – connected since 2016 through our partnership with the New York Conference of the UCC. We spent an inspiring week in the U.S. full of hospitality, worship, deep talks, and fresh perspectives.  

Warm welcome in Scarsdale: Sunday morning donuts, open & affirming vibes, and mindful storytelling.  

From Bishop Vanessa M. Brown we learned: dismantle theologies that made oppression holy. Resist with joy – tell the truth – love anyway!  

Shabbat at the Central Synagogue: Broadway-level music, heartfelt blessings, and deep community connection. Moved and grateful to witness all this as a German Christian.  

Thankful for every learning – excited to bring it into our work back in Berlin. ?
